Pace Care Ltd are a new company with experienced and supportive leadership who aim to provide high-quality trauma informed care for children and young people with complex needs.
We are currently looking for an experienced Children’s Home Manager to manage a new 2 bedded home in Ashton, Preston. Our ideal candidate is someone who can create a fun, safe and loving home environment, and lead a team dedicated to raising young people’s aspirations. Guided by therapeutic models such as Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (DDP) and PACE, you will support and guide young people to enable them to heal, grow and thrive.

Requirements for the role?
• A minimum of 2 years, within the last 5 years, in a position relevant to the residential care of children• At least 12 months experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of care staff• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent• Possess or willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare• In-depth knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations, other legislation and best practice surrounding the care of children and the ability to implement that within the home• Previous experience of participating in Ofsted inspections• Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour• Effective management of relationships with stakeholders including local authorities• Ability to support the management of a 24/7 operation• Right to work in the UK with no restrictions• A full UK driving licence.
